چکیده

A novel integrated system based on solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), a gas turbine (GT), the steam Rankine cycle (SRC), Kalina (KC), and organic (ORC) is proposed to achieve cascade energy utilization. Mathematical models are introduced performance analyzed using exergy methods. The first second laws of thermodynamics used analyze thermodynamically. In addition, destruction losses various subsystems calculated. efficiencies multigeneration estimated be 60.4% 57.3%, respectively. hot water produced during waste heat recovery process may also for accommodating seafarers ships. Sequential optimization developed optimize operating conditions required power output. comprehensive parametric study conducted investigate effect varying current densities cell working fluid ORC overall combined subsystems. five fluids as candidates—R134a, R600, R601, R152a, R124—is compared. which provides 71.23 kW output, 22.49% 42.76%, respectively, selected best thermodynamic ORC.

Evaluation of solid oxide fuel cell anode based on active triple phase boundary length and tortuosity

An efficient procedure is presented for the evaluation of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) anode microstructure triple phase boundary length (TPBL). Triple phase boundary- the one that is common between three phases of the microstructure- has a great influence on the overall efficiency of SOFC because all electrochemical reactions of anode take place in its vicinity. Therefore, evaluation of TP...
